Part 4 of 6 of the mystery thriller from 2003. Dominic Foy is taken to a hotel by Cal McCaffrey, where he questions him about his relationship with Sonia Baker and what he knew about her affair with MP Stephen Collins, but Cal ends up not believing all that he tells him. And Helen uncovers bank statements while she, Dan and Pete are searching Foy's flat that show money paid to him by lobbyists Walter Schloss, who are incorporated with U-Ex Oil. With Stephen head of the environmental committee, Cal begins to wonder whether it could all be done as part of a plan to discredit it by the oil firm and begins to probe how Sonia was able to get a job as a political aide. However Stephen is in no mood to listen to Cal, having learned that his wife has been having an affair with Cal, and makes sure that Cal's boss Cameron Foster knows about it. But Cameron has trouble of his own when he is called into a meeting and is pressured to drop the story on Collins.
