Τhe screenplay of CAPTAIN CAREY, U.S.A. was written by the German actor and screenwriter Robert Thoeren (Thorsch): born in Moravia, he lived in Berlin until 1933 when he immigrated to France and the U.S to return in Berlin after the end of World War II.
