Alexandru Bodean, a young student from Moldova , full of energy, positive, kind and with a great personality, came to USA , through Work & Travel program to live the American adventure. The night of August 8th, could have been the last one for him. The young man suffered an acute stroke, following a ruptured aneurysm , resulting in subarachnoid and interventricular hemorrhages . He remains hospitalized at this time due to prolonged neurological complications. Alexander needs a course of treatment and rehabilitation at Shepherd Center clinic, in the city of Atlanta, Georgia - the only institution authorized to conduct this kind of treatment in United States. The entire cost of this treatment is around $ 150,000, expenses that can not be covered by the Alexander's health insurance provider and this amount should be paid upfront , before starting the treatment.
The parents Veaceslav and Elena Bodean can't afford to pay the rehabilitation tretment, since they can barely cover the daily surviving costs, being unemployed at this time. Elena Bodean is diagnosed with breast cancer and has been going through numerous surgeries.
I address this message to all the people who can help with any possible amount, every dolor counts. God gave Alexandru a chance to life and he deserves to enjoy the American adventure.
