Forget looking for the fur coats on your next visit to the thrift shop, pick up a pair of tap shoes instead! But seriously, thank you for taking the time to check out the channel's first tap dance pop music cover video. We were inspired by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis's song and thought it would be fun to bring tap dance to the Thrift Shop. Check out the original if you haven't done so already!
We have a passion for the wonderful art of tap dance and we find inspiration from many different styles of tap dance, tap masters and choreographers. There is a rich history of incredible tap dance scenes captured on film that have inspired us as well. One such example is the street scene from the 1989 movie, Tap, starring Gregory Hines, with choreography by Hines and Henry Le Tang which we pay tribute to in this short.
This was a lot of fun to make and we can't wait to do more. Hope you enjoy!!!
