Performance
The Samsung Galaxy F62 is powered by the Exynos 9825 chipset, a flagship level chipset, previously in the Galaxy Note 10 (2019). It uses the OneUI 3.1 software, based on Android 11. The 7nm chipset utilizes two custom cores along with two Cortex A75 cores for performance and four efficiency Cortex A75 cores. There is no lag while switching apps and running multiple heavy apps, thanks to the ample RAM it provides. Providing efficient graphics handling, Mali-G76 GPU is capable enough to run heavy gaming smoothly. F62 can run games at the highest Graphics Quality Setting and Max frame rate.
Display
The Galaxy F62 expands over 6.7 inches of screen, diagonally, with a Super AMOLED display panel and GHD+ resolution. The front selfie shooter sits at the top centre of the display, in a punch hole cavity. The display is bordered by thin and slim bezels, increasing the viewing space. It supports 16 million colours and has a 1000000:1 contrast ratio. The WideVine L1 certification, lets you a premium experience, while viewing OTT content. The brightness of the panel is claimed to be 480 nits, which isn't too great, but feels comfortable even under strong light. Moreover, it has the usual set of display customization options, like changing colour vibrancy, dark mode, blue light filter and many more.
Battery Life
The Samsung Galaxy F62 happens to beat all other mid range smart phones, in this respect. It offers a mammoth 7000 mAH battery, an absolute gem of a feature. With normal to heavy use, the device lasts, as long as two days consistently, on one single full charge. The big battery supports a maximum 25 Watts fast charging, which roughly pumps a cent percent charge in about 3 hours. Samsung provides a 25 W fast charger, within the box, which concludes the battery performance. The charging slot is a regular Type C port, common in almost all recent smart phones.
