The eldest daughter of a Professor of Psychology at a large conservative university causes havoc, and great embarrassment, for her father with her free-willed and uninhibited lifestyle.
Jonathan Kingsley (David Niven) is a psychiatrist famous for his books on raising teenage children and is teaching at a university.
Now that his own daughters have reached their teen years, however, Kingsley is finding his own advice lacking.
His eldest daughter, Linda (Cristina Ferrare), has gained a bit of a negative reputation around campus for her promiscuity, and now Kingsley believes it's his job to fend off her many admirers, much to his daughter's chagrin.
