w/ Marion Davies, Robert Montgomery, Frank McHugh, Allen Jenkins, Patsy Kelly
A lovely stenographer (Marion Davies), tired of men falling all over her, tries to make herself homely in this comedy.
With her horn rimmed glasses and tweed suits, she finds that she is actually able to get some work done.
She begins working as a writer's (Robert Montgomery) secretary to help him make his deadline.
Songs include: "Wreaths of Flowers", "Ever Since Eve", and "Shine on Harvest Moon".
The oft-maligned Marion Davies is actually in good form here; though not what one would call a great actress, she was talented and had an above-average flair for comedy.
And Robert Mongomery is good here, doing what he did best for almost two decades as a good guy/romantic leading man.
The supporting cast can't be beat, with good contributions from the likes of Patsy Kelly, Frank McHugh, Louise Fazenda, and Marcia Ralston.
