Every year, GBOB searches for the best bands around the world through hundreds of local music ‘battles’.The winners from each country will then perform live at the GBOB World Final, which happens in a different country every year, the last years being in Kuala Lumpur, London and Chiang Mai. From 2012-2013, an estimated 8200 musicians from 23 countries have competed in GBOB. Since the start in 2004 more than 40,000 musicians have been involved in the competitions.
