Goresbridge graduate KAMANCHO (IRE) rocketed to Group 2 glory in Sunday's Grand Sprint at Nalchik in Russia. Track record holder over 1200m, the four-year-old had previously won a Listed contest and been placed at Group 1 level. Breeders Yeomanstown Stud sold him as a two-year-old to Watkins Bloodstock for €28,000 at the Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale. He is by Camacho, who they stand at their Morristown Lattin Stud at a fee of €7,500. KAMANCHO (IRE) is a half-brother to the Listed and Group 3-placed Golden Destiny (IRE), four-time winner Bluegrass Blues (IRE) and a full-brother to eight-time winner Choc'A'Moca (IRE). His dam is a full-sister to Group 3 Ballyogan Stakes winner and Haydock Sprint Cup third Catch The Blues (IRE) and their half-sister Sharp Catch (IRE) finished third in the Ballyogan Stakes.
