Assistant Controller

The firm is looking for an Assistant Controller who will be reporting to Finance Manager (Plant Controller) and will be responsible for company’s accounting policy.
Core responsibilities:
• Analyze financial results, conclude monthly financial reports and apply SOX checks and causing differences and variations against forecasts;
• Participate in the budgeting process and the process of estimating costs during the year.
Candidate profile:
• University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting;
• Master Degree or professional certification in finance/accounting is a benefit;
• Experience in an international company is a benefit;
• Excellent knowledge of Moldovan National Accounting and Reporting Standards, tax laws and regulations;
• Good knowledge of US Gaap and/or IFRS;
• Strong communication skills, professional behavior, results oriented, organized and respecting deadlines;
• Very good knowledge of Excel;
• Fluency in English;
• Desire to relocate to Ungheni.
