Community is about:
1) Each individual being valued: celebrating diversity;
2) people being unique within the greater whole
3) Inclusiveness, valuing every part of the whole; opening a door to the wider world;
4) Recognizing and valuing our interdependence; actively seeking to include others
5) Relationships based on mutual respect and open communication
6) Conflict being recognized and worked through creatively; hurts being healed
7) Sharing resources, responsibilities, values, visions, feelings, histories and cultures
8) Living, growing and changing individually and collectively
9) A safe place and a challenging place where people can be fulfilled
