•Melt the soy wax flakes in a double boiler or in a heat-safe pouring pitcher placed inside a pot with a small amount of water. Heat the wax to around 170-180 degrees Fahrenheit, or until it is fully melted.
•Add your desired amount of fragrance oil to the melted wax and stir gently. You can also add candle dye if you wish to color your candle.
•Allow the wax to cool slightly, to around 160-170 degrees Fahrenheit, before pouring it into the prepared candle jar. Make sure to center the wooden wick in the jar and hold it in place until the wax sets.
•Allow the candle to cool and set completely, which can take several hours.
•Trim the wooden wick to around 1/4 inch before lighting your candle.
